Dr. Abdulmalik Shehu Yaro is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the African University of Science and Technology (AUST), Abuja, in 2017. He also holds an MSc in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University (2011) and a B.Eng in Metallurgical Engineering from the same university (2006). He was an MIT-ETT Fellow in the Spring of 2020. His research focuses on the development and characterization of nanomaterials, composite materials, and corrosion control. He has supervised several postgraduate students and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Yaro is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and is registered with COREN.
