Dr. Adam Olatunji Muritala is a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University. He is a distinguished engineer specializing in sustainable energy systems and green technologies. In October 2024, he was awarded a prestigious patent for his groundbreaking invention of a fuel-free generator (the Magnetic Repulsion Generator). This innovative device operates on principles of electromagnetic induction and magnetic flux manipulation, leveraging repulsive forces between aligned magnetic poles to generate electricity without conventional fuel. He is also a widely recognized expert in green hydrogen production and serves as a dedicated mentor to his students and colleagues.
