Dr. Adamu Muhammad Noma is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics at Bauchi State University, Gadau (BASUG). A Fall 2022 MIT-ETT Fellow, he specializes in Cryptography, Network Security, and Computational Mathematics. His research focuses on optimizing algorithms for public key cryptosystems, specifically Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) and modular exponentiation. He works on developing lightweight security protocols for wireless networks (WLANs) and has recently expanded his work into designing intelligent scheduling systems for healthcare applications. Dr. Noma holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science/Mathematics (focusing on Cryptographic Algorithms) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). He is actively involved in strengthening the computational curriculum at BASUG to produce graduates capable of securing Nigeria’s digital infrastructure.
