Dr. Ahmed Amoo Yinusa

Dr. Ahmed Amoo Yinusa is a Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where he also serves as the Manager of the UNILAG Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab). A Spring 2024 MIT-ETT Fellow, he is recognized for his award-winning doctoral research, having received the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award at UNILAG in 2023. His research interests lie at the intersection of Nanotechnology, Thermofluids, and Climate Change Adaptation. He specializes in fluid-structure interaction and the application of nanotechnology for water resource management and energy harvesting. Dr. Yinusa is a member of the UNILAG Climate Change Research Group and the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA) Centre of Excellence for Water. He is deeply committed to hands-on engineering education, leveraging the FabLab to teach students practical skills in 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
