Dr. Angela Makolo

Dr. Angela Makolo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Ibadan, where she leads the Bioinformatics Research group. She won the MIT-ETT Postdoctoral Training Fellowship in 2015 and the prestigious TechWomen Emerging Leader Award in 2013. Her research focuses on the development of efficient algorithms and computational methods for automated genome annotation. She is the Principal Investigator for the University of Ibadan Node of H3ABioNet (Human Health Hereditary in Africa Bioinformatics Network)
