Dr. Chidiebere Diyoke is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT). A Fall 2022 MIT-ETT Fellow, he is a dedicated researcher in the field of Sustainable Energy Systems and Thermal Engineering. His research focuses on the modeling and simulation of Renewable Energy technologies, with specific expertise in hybrid power generation systems that combine wind, biomass, and compressed air energy storage (CAES). He is actively working on solutions for distributed electricity supply in Nigeria, aiming to solve the power crisis in rural and off-grid communities. Dr. Diyoke holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of Hull, UK, and an M.Sc. in Energy Systems and Thermal Processes from Cranfield University, UK. He is an advocate for using computational modeling to optimize energy efficiency in buildings and industrial processes.
