Dr. Ibukun Dapo Adewale

Dr. Ibukun Dapo Adewale is an electrical and electronic engineering educator who was part of the Fall 2019 MIT-ETT cohort. He advocates for a holistic approach to engineering education that cultivates intellect, creativity, and enterprise in students. Dr. Adewale holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University in the UK, with research expertise in non-destructive testing using pulsed eddy current techniques. In his teaching, he emphasizes the integration of rigorous technical training with innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. By sharing his international research experience in electromagnetic NDE and fostering a classroom culture of exploration, he aims to produce well-rounded graduates who are both technically skilled and capable of out-of-the-box problem solving in the engineering industry.
