Dr. Ikenna Chinazaekpere Ijeh is a Lecturer-Researcher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Alex Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), Nigeria. He holds a B.Eng. from Caritas University in Nigeria, an M.Sc. from the University of Derby in the UK, and a Ph.D. from École Centrale de Marseille in France. At AE-FUNAI, he leads the university’s Digital Fabrication Laboratory (Fab Lab) and has been recognized with awards such as the Ville de Marseille doctoral scholarship. Dr. Ijeh’s research focuses on wireless communication systems and the automation of control systems. He has worked on projects ranging from improving broadband wireless networks to developing smart control algorithms for industrial automation. In his teaching, he emphasizes hands-on making and prototyping – often leveraging the Fab Lab for class projects – to help students turn theoretical knowledge into real devices. His international training and active research portfolio enable him to give students a truly global and practical engineering education.
