Dr. Kayode Francis Akingbade is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and was an MIT-ETT Fellow in Fall 2015. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, data mining, and soft computing. He applies these techniques to solve real-world problems, such as developing neuro-fuzzy expert systems for the diagnosis of tropical diseases like typhoid fever and creating intelligent systems for agricultural optimization. He has supervised numerous postgraduate students and is deeply involved in advancing computer science curriculum and research at FUTA.
