Dr. Michael Lubwama

Dr. Michael Lubwama is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Makerere University. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Dublin City University, Ireland. He was an MIT-ETT Fellow in Fall 2014. His research focuses on adding value to waste materials, developing bio-composite plastics and briquettes, and tailoring novel materials for applications like biofuels and fiber-reinforcement. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of YES Energy & Engineering Solutions.
