Dr. Mohammed Dahiru Buhari

Dr. Mohammed Dahiru Buhari is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Deputy Director at the Centre for Renewable Energy Research, Bayero University Kano (BUK). He holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. He was an MIT-ETT Fellow in Fall 2022. Dr. Buhari is an expert in strategic energy planning and renewable energy integration. He currently also serves as a Lead Renewable Energy Consultant for the Niger Delta Power Holding Company. He has led major solar projects, including 1MWp and 3.5MWp solar hybrid systems at BUK
