Dr. Olatunde Mosobalaje is a faculty member in the Petroleum Engineering department of Covenant University, Nigeria. He actively promotes digital innovations in engineering education, integrating modern technology and e-learning tools to enrich the student learning experience. His current research involves developing pedagogical frameworks for petroleum data science education and designing digital professional development programs for petroleum engineering educators. By combining domain expertise in petroleum engineering with data science, Dr. Mosobalaje aims to modernize how petroleum engineering is taught, ensuring that graduates are proficient in handling big data and analytics in the energy sector. He also works on upskilling fellow educators through workshops and online training modules, helping to spread effective teaching practices. His efforts contribute to a more technologically adaptive and forward-looking culture in petroleum engineering academia.
