Dr. Olusegun Peter Awe

Dr. Olusegun Peter Awe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria. He holds a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from the International Islamic University Malaysia (2017), an MSc in Mechatronics Engineering from the same institution (2013), and a B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria (2008). He was an MIT-ETT Fellow in Spring 2020. His research interests span rehabilitation robotics, control systems, and artificial intelligence. He is actively involved in developing assistive technologies for individuals with physical disabilities, leveraging his expertise in robotics and control systems to create innovative solutions. Dr. Awe has published several papers in reputable international journals and has presented his work at various conferences. He is a registered engineer with COREN and a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
