Prof. Adebayo Olusola Adetunmbi is a Professor of Computer Science at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). He holds B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from FUTA. He was a CAS-TWAS Postgraduate Research Fellow at the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, and a Visiting Scholar at MIT under the ETT program in Spring 2012. He leads the Data Science & Intelligent Systems Research Group at FUTA. His research interests include network intrusion detection systems, spam filtering using machine learning, and the development of speech-to-text systems for Nigerian languages like Yorùbá.
