Prof. Ogheneruona (Ruona) Diemuodeke is a Professor of Energy and Thermofluids in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Port Harcourt. He also serves as the Ag. Director of the Energy Technology Institute at the university. He received his PhD in Energy and Power from Cranfield University, UK. He was an MIT-ETT Fellow in Fall 2017. His research interests interconnect renewable and low-carbon energy technology, deep decarbonisation, and environmental sustainability. He was a Lead Author for the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (Working Group III). He is a registered Engineer with COREN and a member of the Editorial Board of several prestigious energy journals.
