Dr. Usman Abubakar-Zaria

Prof. Usman Abubakar-Zaria is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He holds a PhD in Process Safety Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, UK. He was an MIT-ETT Fellow in Spring 2018. He currently serves as the Director-General of the Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA). His expertise includes process safety, risk assessment, and environmental management in the oil and gas industry. He is a registered engineer with COREN and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.
